The other thing you are going to have to deal with when you are playing in a real world casino is that most of the people around you aren't going to be shy about commenting on your game. When you do something well they will say something and when you make a mistake they will be really quick to point out exactly what you did and also tell you what you should have done instead.

The first time you play Blackjack in a real world casino, you should try to sit as lose to the middle of the table as you possibly can.  When you do this, there is less pressure on you when you sit in the middle as opposed to the end seat which makes the last decision before the dealer has to play their hand.

Until you have gotten accustomed to the hustle and bustle of the casino, you should look for a table that doesn't have very many people playing. The fewer people at a table, the less likely you are to be distracted by their presence. If you can't find a table that you like, or you are having a difficult time getting into the game, you should look for a slot machine that has computerized Blackjack. This will provide you with a familiar style of the game, and allow you mind to get used to disassociating itself with the chaos surrounding you.
